Product Features:

User Instructions:
*Push the switch to select the desired source port (Camera connector or SD card reader)
*Connect the USB port or insert a memory card according to the postion of switch
*Connect the Camera Connection Kit to the iPad
*After you make the connection, your iPad automatically opens the Photos app, which lets you choose which pictures to import, then organizes the selected photos into albums. When you sync iPad to your PC or Mac, the photos on your iPad are added to your computer's photo library.
Trouble Shooting:
*Please replug (plug out and re-plug in) the kit if iPad displays "this device is not supported by iPad". because of you are NOT FULLY INSERT the kit.
*If you see an alert saying that the "Attached volume appears to be invalid", check to ensure the memory card or digital media in the camera is correctly formatted. (Notice, backup all data before format, it will erase all data on card!)
*You need to insert the memory card or USB device to the kit first, and then insert the kit to you ipad.
*Please make sure the switch is set properly for USB or SD card.
*the photos must save at "DCIM" folder.
*for iPad with iOS > 4.2, you might get Error message "Cannot Use Device. The connected USB device requires too much power." for certain USB devices or SD card. It is a bug/limitation for iOS 4.2, because of the iOS 3.22 supports 100mA current , however, iOS 4.2 supports only 20mA current. Your USB or SD card current is overload 20mA, the solution is 1)use a powered usb hub or 2)Use iOS 3.22 or 3)Use a lower power USB device / SD card.
Further Information:
*for non-jailbreaked iPad: can only access DCIM folder for photo and MP4 files.
*for jailbreaked iPad: could access DCIM folder for files in other format by using ifile.
